Gong (Brunei's Traditional Musical Instrument)
Among Brunei’s traditional instruments, the Gong holds a significant place, reflecting the wider gong-chime culture of Southeast Asia. Played in folk and ceremonial ensembles, it enriches performances with deep, resonant tones that set rhythm and mark key moments. In Brunei, larger gongs often serve symbolic or decorative roles, embodying cultural heritage and musical identity.
